I Heart Transit is a social media campaign to get students passionate about transit in Edmonton.
The University of Alberta Students’ Union election this year had a referendum about U-Pass which is a student bus pass that students pay a cheaper price for. Students would be deciding whether to continue paying for U-Pass or not. This campaign is to show the history of the U-Pass along with its benefits and why transit is good. Social media posts were made to engage students including Instagram stories asking students to share answers; historical and statistical Instagram posts.
